Into the breach

Comedy theatre at the Windmill

On behalf of Space2Learn, Deddington we are delighted to announce that we are presenting an evening of theatre for students and their families.

INTO THE BREACH is a heartwarming drama of love, war and odd jobs written and performed by MARK CAREY.

Our hero George Crocker is keen to liven up his dull life, so he decides to join the village Drama Club. What happens next turns his world upside down!  Set during the Second World War this original, nostalgic, hilarious and moving story will appeal to all, from aged nine years upwards.

Mark regularly performs INTO THE BREACH at schools around the country.

“A great show. I loved every minute. It’s Dad’s Army meets the Vicar of Dibley!” London Metro.

“Mark Carey shows amazing dexterity and comic skill in playing all 17 parts.” The Stage.

“What a tour de force Into the Breach turned out to be. The whole play was a delight … that fully merited the standing ovation.” Stratford Herald.
